The Woodland Hills Happy Hour Guide: 15% Off, Every Single Night

DealsWoodland Hills

Most happy hours are a Tuesday-only, well-drinks-only kind of promise. Ours is simpler: every night, 7 to 9 PM, 15% off everything in the store. Not select brands. Not "excludes top shelf." Not the first Thursday after a full moon. Everything, nightly, including the jar the budtenders keep looking at.

It's the deal our regulars plan their evenings around, and after enough counter conversations that start with "wait, it's every night?", we figured it deserved its own field guide.

The rules, all of them

  • When: 7:00 to 9:00 PM Pacific, seven nights a week. We're open 8 AM–10 PM daily, so happy hour is the second-to-last act of every day.
  • What: 15% off the entire store — flower, carts, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls, the works. No excluded shelves.
  • Who: Anyone who can legally shop: adults 21+ with a government photo ID, or 18+ with a valid physician's recommendation.
  • How: Nothing. There's no code, no punch card, no secret phrase. If your order rings up between 7 and 9, the 15% comes off automatically.

That last point matters more than it looks. The discount applies when the register does — which sets up the single most useful trick in this post.

The order-ahead trick

You don't have to shop during the window. You have to check out during it.

So here's the move: browse our Weedmaps menu whenever you like — lunch break, stuck on the 101, couch — place your pickup order, and swing by between 7 and 9. Your bag's already packed, you pay inside the window, and the 15% lands on the total. Door to car in a few minutes, discount intact, zero browsing-under-time-pressure.

The parking gods cooperate too: our free lot is behind the building and the entrance faces it, so the whole errand is shorter than the podcast segment you paused for it.

One caution from experience: don't play chicken with 9 PM. The register clock is the referee, and the 8:55 crowd rolling in off Topanga Canyon is a nightly tradition we enjoy watching but don't recommend joining.

What the regulars actually buy

Four years of 7-to-9s have produced some recognizable species:

The top-shelf strategist. Fifteen percent is worth the most dollars where prices are highest, so this is when premium jars move. On a $60 indoor eighth, the discount is $9 at the shelf — and closer to $12 once you count the taxes it shrinks, since discounts in California come off before the tax stack is calculated. The strategist knows this and only ever buys exotics after 7.

The cart-and-battery pragmatist. Vapes are the classic replenishment purchase — you know exactly which cart you like, so ordering ahead and grabbing it at 7:15 is the whole errand.

The edibles restocker. California caps edible packages at 100 mg THC, portioned into standard 10 mg servings, so gummy people restock on a rhythm — and a predictable nightly discount suits a predictable habit. If you're newer to edibles: start low, go slow, and read our dosing guide before the gummies read you. For medical questions, talk to a doctor — we're budtenders, not physicians.

The Friday stock-up. Some folks do one big weekly run inside the window. Worth knowing the ceiling: state law caps daily purchases at 28.5 grams of flower and 8 grams of concentrate for adult-use shoppers (medical patients have higher limits). Fifteen percent off a full legal basket is a genuinely respectable pile of savings.

Best price wins (the Tuesday overlap)

We also run Concentrate Tuesday — 10% off concentrates, all day Tuesday. So what happens to a live resin cart at 7:30 on a Tuesday night, when it technically qualifies for both?

You get the better one. Percentage deals at Nature's Story never stack with each other; the register just applies whichever price is lower, automatically. No choosing, no stacking puzzles, no "well, actually" at checkout. Tuesday daytime, concentrates are 10% off. Tuesday 7–9 PM, everything — concentrates included — is 15% off. The best-price-wins rule is the whole policy, and it's written down on our deals board along with everything else currently running.

Yes, you still earn points

Happy hour purchases earn Nature's Points like any other purchase: 1 point per dollar on what you actually pay, 100 points worth $5 off later. Discounts don't switch the points off — a $40 basket that rings up at $34 earns 34 points, honestly counted.

That makes the nightly window the program's best on-ramp. Sign up at the register (free, one minute, 100-point bonus), shop between 7 and 9, scan your QR code, and you've got 15% off and roughly 5% back running on the same receipt, every visit, forever. Add the 5-point daily check-in and the birthday-month bonus and the whole thing compounds — the loyalty deep-dive does the year-long math if you want to see a regular hit Gold on autopilot.

Why 7 to 9?

Partly the law: California dispensaries close by 10 PM, no exceptions, so the evening has a hard final page and 7–9 is its natural climax. Partly the Valley: by 7, Warner Center has emptied out, dinner plans in Woodland Hills are settled, and the after-work-errand crowd and the settling-in-for-the-night crowd overlap in exactly that window. We put the discount where the neighborhood already was.

And partly philosophy. The industry default is a rotating calendar of micro-deals — wax Wednesdays, shatterday, flower power hour — that mostly rewards people for memorizing a menu of exceptions. We'd rather have one big, dumb, dependable promise: it's evening, so everything is 15% off. You'll never catch us quizzing you on what day it is. (If you enjoy the deal-comparison sport anyway, our deal-math guide shows why a nightly 15% quietly out-earns flashier weekly numbers for almost everyone.)

The two-minute playbook

  1. Build your order on Weedmaps any time today.
  2. Arrive 7:00–9:00 PM. Park free behind the building at 6455 Topanga Canyon Blvd.
  3. Bring the ID matching the order name. Scan your points QR.
  4. Pay: 15% off, points earned, out the door.

See you tonight. Or tomorrow night. That's rather the point.

For adults 21+ with valid ID, or 18+ with a valid physician's recommendation. Please don't drive under the influence.

Tonight's window opens at 7order ahead on Weedmaps and your bag will beat you here.
