The KOA story
KOA is the pre-roll brand of Gardenhouse Brands, the Los Angeles company founded in 2015 by Jake Catt, Ismael Gonzalez and Dom Murphy that also makes dompen vapes. The company takes its name from the garden house at Catt's aunt's home in LA, where the first products were formulated and soft-launched.
KOA's signature format is a ten-pack of mini pre-rolls rolled from indoor flower and infused with live resin, packaged with a bronze case that outlives the joints. A two-pack Doubles format covers the other end of the spectrum.

Why KOA is on our shelf
A ten-pack of minis is the most practical infused format in the store: one at a time, no relighting a half-smoked joint, and the tin actually gets reused. KOA does it with live resin instead of distillate, which is why it tastes like the strain on the label.
